Returns and refunds policy

If you have purchased on our website, but wish to return the goods, you have 14 days from the time of receipt of the purchased products to assert your right to return, obtaining a full refund of the products purchased and without having to provide explanations in this regard.

After receiving the goods from you, we will proceed with issuing the refund which is usually visible on your credit card statement after 48/72 hours. Attention! This timing may vary depending on the policies of the company issuing your credit card and does not depend on our will!

To assert your right to return, however, the following conditions are necessary:

• The product must have been purchased as a private individual and not as a company. If you have requested an invoice with VAT number, therefore, you will not be able to request a return.
• No more than 14 days must have passed from the moment of receipt of the goods. In this case, the delivery date by the courier is valid.
• You must have kept the receipt or the attached tax document: it is necessary that you attach this document to the return shipment of the goods, otherwise it will be fiscally impossible for us to proceed with the return.
• The goods you have purchased must be intact. The breaking of a guarantee seal, the opening of the packages or the partial consumption of the contents automatically invalidates the right of return. If we receive partially consumed goods or open packages, we will not proceed with the refund.

Return of Goods and Right of Withdrawal

In compliance with the European Union directive 93/13 / EEC relating to consumer protection, the natural person who purchases products on the WineStory.it website for purposes that can be considered unrelated to his professional activity, has the right to return the purchased products and request the replacement of the goods or the full refund with the sole exclusion of transport costs (both for sending and returning the goods) by communicating this decision by certified e-mail or registered mail with return receipt within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods.

The communication can also be sent by fax, telex or telegram, provided that the decision to exercise the right of withdrawal is confirmed by certified e-mail or registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt within the following 48 hours.

The registered letter must contain a copy of our accompanying document (order report). An exception to this rule, as required by art. 5 paragraph 3c of Legislative Decree 185/1999, concerns the exclusion from the right of withdrawal of only products prepared specifically for the customer. Once you have received the registered letter you will be contacted by E-Mail or by telephone, if available as a contact method.

Everything must be returned within 14 days from the date of communication of the desire to exercise the right of withdrawal, in the original and perfectly intact packaging, to the following address:

The reimbursement will take place, as required by law, within a maximum period of 14 days from receipt of the request for withdrawal and upon notification by the buyer of the shipment of the goods. The replacement of defective products or products sent by mistake will be possible if returned within 14 days from the delivery date and provided that they are complete in all their parts and in intact packaging.

The shipping and transport costs for the return of goods and products are charged to the customer.

Legal Guarantee

The legal guarantee is mandatory by law, is valid for two years from the delivery of the goods, is mandatory and can be asserted by the consumer directly against the seller, in the event that the consumer good purchased presents a lack of conformity with the contract of sale.

The Consumer Code (Legislative Decree no. 206 of 6/09/05 in transposition of Directive 1999/44 / EC) establishes that the seller is obliged to deliver to the consumer a product that complies with the sales contract.

In case of lack of conformity, the consumer can demand from the seller that the goods be replaced or repaired, at his choice, without additional costs and within a reasonable time.

When the repair or replacement is objectively impossible or excessively expensive, or the replacement or repair previously carried out has caused significant inconvenience for the consumer, the termination of the contract can be requested (with simultaneous return of the price paid and the purchased good) or the price reduction.

The legal guarantee is not valid if it was the consumer who caused the damage, or if the consumer knew or could have known the defect at the time of purchase, or if the lack of conformity derives from instructions or materials supplied by the consumer (e.g. to make a tailor-made suit the consumer provides the measurements and the fabric).
